Reference and workflow boundaries
Use the module guides for detailed workflows. Keep each tool’s data ownership and measurement limits visible when reviewing a change.
Data and editing contracts
Section titled “Data and editing contracts”- Animation Studio edits native Widget Blueprint animation data with undo/redo and Sequencer integration. Unsupported track types remain editable in Sequencer.
- Animation Workbench reviews hierarchy and clip coverage and applies scoped structure, timing, value, and repair operations.
- Anim Tools provides 18 focused panels. Some are inspection-only; general FPS conversion and automatic project-wide animation migration are not implemented.
- Graph Comments asset references are documentation links and do not automatically establish cooking or migration dependencies.
- Distance Field Toolkit textures retain their source and generation recipe for repeatable reimport. Keep source artwork and shared presets available to the team.
Interpreting findings
Section titled “Interpreting findings”Material Custom Node Validator and Graph Heuristics provide advisory checks and limited repairs. Their findings do not establish shader compilation success or GPU cost.
The Widget Profiler distinguishes widget CPU phases and exposes activity, draw elements, resources, and compiled material statistics. It does not assign GPU time or exact Blueprint execution time to individual widgets. Collection is opt-in and unavailable in Test/Shipping builds.
Niagara conversion covers supported renderer and parameter information. It does not reproduce arbitrary graphs, GPU simulation, or ribbons.
